I placed an order for pick up. I have a kiddo in tow, and she is sick and only wants PIzza. We get there and the order isn't even in the queue to be made. Ok that's not super bad, it's pizza, lasagna, a sandwich and some bread. We order something to drink while we wait. We are sitting there quite a while waiting for our pizza. The guy is very apologetic. I get it, it's a small place and they are soing dine in and take out, it's a lot. We get home with our pizza, lasagna, sandwich and breads. the food is ok. Maybe it's that I had to reheat it since it's winter in MN, but it wasn't as good as I remembered it. We also got some gelato that was probably everyones favorite thing. the place is super cute and the service is rustic is feeling. they seemed to have some fun beers in cans. I would go in vs take out especially if it requires reheating.
I have lived in Minnesota for over 7 years and never been here until now. Why did I wait so long. Best Pizza in South Minneapolis, hands down. So good!!!

The pizza at Fat Lorenzo's is really good. It's a busy place, so we decided to do take out, but their dining room is nice. Give them a chance next time your looking for a good pizza and pasta place!
My family and I stopped in for a early dinner. We sat outside and our server was amazing. He was friendly and on top of it. The pizza came out fast and our drinks stayed full. My wife did order a salad and that would be the only thing we wouldn't order again due to lunch meat and cheap lettuce but the pizza made up for it.
